Roadside Help

Roadside assistance in Memphis. Often faster than a tow.

Most calls we get are not actual tows - they are a dead battery, a flat tire, an empty tank, or a locked key. A 20-minute roadside call gets you back on the road and usually saves the full tow fee. We provide roadside assistance across the Memphis metro, including Downtown, Midtown, East Memphis, and every community in between, and out to DeSoto County, MS and West Memphis, AR. We stock everything on the truck: jump packs, spare tires, fuel cans, and lockout tools. TDOT also runs a free HELP patrol on I-40, I-55, I-240, and SR-385 in the Memphis area, Monday through Sunday, 6am to 8:30pm, that helps get you safely off the roadway, but it does not do repairs and it does not run overnight - that is where we come in, especially for the FedEx Superhub's 2-to-4 a.m. shift traffic.

What do homeowners ask about Roadside Help?

Do you provide roadside assistance in DeSoto County, West Memphis, and other Memphis-area communities?

Yes - Quick Tow Memphis covers the entire tri-state metro for roadside assistance, including Downtown, Midtown, Germantown, Southaven, and West Memphis. Average arrival is 30-45 minutes in the urban core and up to 45-75 minutes out toward Piperton, Atoka, and the far edges of DeSoto County. Call (858) 925-5546 for a real ETA based on your exact location.

Will a jump start fix my car?

If the battery is the only issue, yes - usually you can drive away after 10 minutes of idle. If the alternator is bad or the battery will not hold a charge, we will tow you to a shop. We diagnose before recommending; you get honesty, not a sales pitch for the tow.

Can you change a tire on I-40, I-55, or the bridge approaches?

We can, but if the flat is on the traffic side of the vehicle on an active highway, the safer move is a short tow off the road to a safe lot where we swap the tire. Lamar Ave and the I-55 corridor near the rebuilt Crump interchange carry well over 100,000 vehicles a day in places, so a roadside tire change there is genuinely risky. TDOT's HELP patrol can also help clear you from the live lane during its 6am-8:30pm window while we're en route.

How much fuel do you bring?

We bring 2 gallons of gasoline or diesel minimum. That is enough to get you to the nearest station - we do not fill the tank at roadside because of pricing and safety. Fuel is charged at cost plus a small service surcharge.

What if I need a tow after the roadside call?

If the roadside work does not solve it, the tow is dispatched from the same call - no second response fee. You pay the tow rate; the roadside call is bundled.
